This particular scene was not in the book but was made just for the movie to add excitement.
Goofs: Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, one of the Gryffindor Quidditch players’ name is Demelza Robins, however, in the movie, the back of her Quidditch robes says Robbins with 2 b’s instead of one.
